Dr. Welle is originally from Mahtomedi. He grew up in Lake Elmo and attended school in Mahtomedi where he graduated from Mahtomedi High School in 1999. He furthered his undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota Morris with a B.A., Majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. After 4 years of undergrad he attended the University of Minnesota Dental School and graduated in 2007 where he recieved his Docturate of Dental Surgery degree. He was also recognized for his outstanding ability in Emergency Endodontics (root canals). In the summer of 2007 Dr. Welle was 1 of 5 in the U.S. chosen for a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center where he gained further experience. After a year in his residency Dr. Welle accepted an associateship in New Hope where he has practiced for the past 5 years.

Dr. Welle is married to his wife Amanda and has two children Madisen and Camoren. Dr. Welle enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family, snowmobiling, and making his own wine.
